The museum welcomes visitors of all ages, families and groups. This section provides what you need to know when planning a visit to us.

Admission prices

*Up to 2 children free with 1 full paying adult or concession - additional children £1 per child (excludes some special events).

Adult and Concession tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase. With the exception of some special events and ticketed events, you can use your ticket to visit as many times as you like during normal opening hours. Terms and conditions apply - please refer to the bottom of this page for details.

Become a Gift Aid Visitor
If you are a UK taxpayer and you agree, please make a donation that is at least equal to the standard admission charge and you will be given free admission for a year during normal opening hours (excluding some special events and ticketed events).

The admission price includes admission to the period rooms, exhibition galleries and the walled garden. We would recommend allowing a minimum of 1 to 1½ hours for your visit.

Tommy’s Sisters

Fri 17 Mar 7.30pm at Wimborne Royal British Legion
A film and live performance by State of Play Arts and ScreenPLAY in association with the Priest’s House Museum. A war widow working in an explosives factory, a girl missing her friend who has gone off to fight, a mother wondering what the future will bring for her son, two musicians caring for wounded soldiers from the Front. A moving drama of life on the Home Front based on true stories. The film is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund as part of the Priest’s House Museum’s first world war project.

Museum Memories

Mon 27 Mar 2.15 - 3.30pm
A monthly reminiscence session for people with dementia and their carers, with objects from the collections and activities. Funded by POPP (Dorset Partnership for Older People Project) and supported by the Alzheimer's Society.
£1.50 (booking advisable, including refreshments)

Annual pass terms and conditions

Not valid in conjunction with group rates and cannot be used as part of a school visit, not valid for our daytime and evening ticketed events throughout the year, and not valid for up to five special events throughout the year. Original ticket must be presented on day of visit and lost or damaged tickets can only be replaced with proof of purchase. Ticket must not be re-sold, cannot be transferred or exchanged and has no monetary value. Valid for one year from date of purchase. Right of admission reserved. The Priest's House Museum Trust reserves the right to alter opening times without notice.
