Local history research

The Museum Library has a large collection of information relating to life in Wimborne and East Dorset. We have census details, trade directories, parish magazines, local ephemera, photographs and much, much more. There is also a large selection of local history and reference books. Simple enquiries can be dealt with by telephone or letter but a personal visit is recommended when detailed research is required. You are welcome to come and use the library but, please, only by appointment as table space is limited.
