Meet the Romans

Visitors will be able to meet a Roman soldier in the museum garden.

Visitors will be able to meet a Roman soldier in the museum garden on Saturday 21 September 2019, 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Our soldier will be kitted out in Roman legionary uniform and displaying equipment as used at a large Roman fort. Visitors will discover what it is like to wear and maintain a full military kit.

Entry is free, with the entrance by Wimborne Library.
