The museum is the place to be for a fantastic day of activities for all the family on Thursday 30 October, 10 to 4 (last entry 3pm). Visitors can get creative with our Halloween craft activities and the Victorian kitchen will be cooking up some spine-tingling tasty treats to make and eat. There will be the opportunity to get hands on with a range of ghoulish art and craft activities. Our storytellers will have visitors enthralled as they weave their spell with some spooky tales. There will be something for everyone with trails, quizzes, art and craft activities, and much, much more. Visitors are welcome to dress up in their best scary costume. The garden tearoom will be open to serve delicious cakes and drinks. Admission is £2 per person for adults and children. The annual pass is not valid for this event. For further information please contact the museum. Please remember that all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Throughout half term (25 October to 1 November, excluding 30 October, Monday to Saturday 10 to 4.30) there will be a range of self directed craft activities as part of a visit to the museum. Admission to the house, museum and garden is £5.50 for adults and £4.50 for concessions.
