Priest's House plant sale

Posted on 25 Apr 2014
Spring has arrived with the odd April shower. As we all begin to think about getting out into the garden, mowing the lawn and deciding what to plant in the flowerbeds this year, the Friends of the Priest's House Museum are offering the perfect opportunity to pick up a few floral bargains on Saturday 3 May from 10am to 4pm on Wimborne's Minster Green. There will be a good selection of bedding and basket plants to tempt green-fingered customers. Once you have browsed the stalls why not explore the museum. There are fascinating local history displays and new exhibitions including 'Lost Tracks - Remembering East Dorset's Railways' to discover. Anyone spending £8 or more at the plant sale will receive a free admission ticket valid for that day to the museum and a free cup of tea or coffee in the garden tearoom. The plant sale will be located in the centre of the town on Minster Green. We look forward to seeing many of you there to help us raise funds for the museum. The museum would like to thank the Rector of Wimborne Minster for allowing the use of the Minster Green for this event. For further information please contact the museum.
