Early Days

The Friends of the Priest's House Museum invite you to a talk on 'Early Days' by the Wimborne U3A History Group on Tuesday 6 October, 7.30pm in the Hilda Coles Open Learning Centre at the museum. Wimborne U3A History Group has researched on the subject 'Seeing the Past: a history of the Wimborne district in 100 objects' for over a year. They have produced talks on five subjects. The first portrays the story from the Bronze Age down to the time of the Tudors. This is visible history telling the story behind pieces in the Priest's House Museum and the Minster, wall plaques and buildings. Tickets are available from the Wimborne Tourist Information Centre or on 01202 886116 priced at £6, including refreshments (booking is essential).
