Wild About...

Posted on 27 Jul 2015
The museum is giving young nature lovers the opportunity to go wild every Wednesday afternoon from 1.00 to 2.30 over the next few weeks, thanks to its friends at the Dorset Wildlife Trust. Join Dorset Wildlife Trust to find out more about the garden's creatures and get stuck in with craft activities, quizzes and trails. There will be ideas to make garden visitors welcome at home. Each week there will be a different theme: Wednesday 29 July, Wild About Butterflies & Moths – inspect the contents of a moth trap Wednesday 5 August, Wild About Minibeasts – build a bug hotel Wednesday 12 August, Wild About Hedgehogs – hedgehog crafts and information on 'build a box' Wednesday 19 August, Wild About Birds – make a bird feeder Admission is £1 per person per event (annual pass not valid). Numbers are limited so it is first come first served. Children must be accompanied by an adult. If you would like any further information please contact the museum.
