Donate to the museum or sponsor an object to help raise funds for our Revival Project.
The Priest’s House Museum Trust has applied to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for £1.1 million towards its Revival Project, a project intended to enhance community/ visitor experience through a museum which meets the standards of the 21st century and which will carry on for future generations.
In total, we need to raise £400,000 ourselves in match funding to obtain the money from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Please help us achieve our target by sponsoring an object or giving a donation on-line.
Here are some examples of how your donations will be used:
A bag to pack an object
£12 - 15
An acid free storage box
A roll of jiffy foam
100 sheets of acid-free tissue paper
£50 - 100
Production of an interpretation panel
New lighting for refurbished cases
Ramps for the upper floor to address accessibility issues
A case to display our nationally-important collection of Valentine’s cards
An interactive display showing digitized copies of the Valentine cards and letters exchanged between Mr and Mrs Low
Average cost of a ClickNetherfield showcase of Government Indemnity Standard to enable the museum to have the flexibility to borrow from National Museums
Estimated cost of the lift to the upper floor galleries
Every donation we receive is truly appreciated and will make a real difference to the fundraising effort for the museum. Donations can be gift-aided which will make your sponsorship even more valuable to us.
If for any reason the Revival Project does not ahead, the money will be used for the care of the collections.
Gift Aid your donation
The museum as a charity, can claim the tax paid on your donation, however large or small, through Gift Aid. Presently this equates to an additional 25p for every £1 you give making your donation even more valuable to us.
