About us

The Priest's House Museum occupies ten rooms of a Grade II* listed historic town house situated in the centre of Wimborne Minster. The award winning garden includes a display of large agricultural and horticultural implements and the Boat-house Tea Room.

The Museum houses much important social and local history material relating to domestic and rural life, crafts, trade and childhood. There are also major holdings of archaological material, photographs, costume and ephemera.

The Museum has won various awards for its creative display and education programmes and it continues as a very active and lively community service managed on a highly professional basis.
